Getting started

How do you match my teen with a mentor?

We learn about your teen’s interests, personality, goals, and preferences, then handpick an experienced mentor who fits.

Mentors and matching

Who are the mentors?

Our mentors are experienced, vetted adults from education, youth development, counseling, and other people-first fields.

What if my teen doesn’t click with their mentor?

A strong relationship matters most. If the match does not click, we will listen and help your teen find a better-fit mentor.

Sessions and cadence

How often will my teen meet with their mentor?

Families can choose a monthly, twice-monthly, or weekly cadence.

How do the sessions work?

Sessions are live, online, and one-to-one. Each 60-minute conversation connects your teen’s interests and goals to a practical next step.

Parents and privacy

How do parent updates work?

Parents receive concise summaries with progress highlights and clear next steps, while teens keep ownership of the mentoring relationship.

Billing

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. Choose the cadence that fits now, and continue only while mentoring is useful for your teen.

Can we change plans later?

Yes. You can move to a different cadence as your teen’s goals, schedule, or need for support changes.

Is there a long-term commitment?

No. We will help you choose a cadence that fits, and you can adjust as your teen’s needs change.
